Built for the cold chain first
Cold storage is where label failure costs the most. A peeled cryo vial means a lost sample. A faded freezer carton means a recall. A smudged date stamp on a meat works carton means a compliance audit. The M2 uses thermal transfer onto polypropylene or polyester label stock — the same materials used in laboratory standards labelling — and the result survives:
- Liquid nitrogen vapour storage down to –196°C
- Mechanical freezers at –80°C and –40°C
- Autoclave sterilisation at 121–134°C
- Alcohol, isopropyl, ethanol, and most lab solvents
