Sinee EM730 VSD keypad simulator

Sinee EM730 VSD keypad simulator

Practise programming the EM730 drive before you touch the real one. Use the four keys and the dial exactly as on the drive: turn the dial to scroll or change a value, press the centre of the dial to confirm (ENTER). Settings are taken from the EM730 user manual.

How the keys work
  • ESC from the running display opens the menu-mode screen (--A-- all parameters, --U-- user list F11, --C-- changed from default, --E-- fault records, --P-- version info). Turn the dial to pick one, press ENTER to go in. ESC always steps back one level and abandons an unsaved edit.
  • On a code such as F00.07, >> moves the flashing digit and the dial changes it. That lets you jump group by group instead of scrolling.
  • ENTER (press the dial) opens the value. The lowest digit flashes; >> moves to the next digit, the dial changes it, ENTER saves and moves to the next code.
  • On the running display, >> steps through the monitored values (F12.33–F12.37). With F00.04 = 8 (factory) turning the dial edits the keypad speed setting: it starts on the 0.1 Hz digit, >> moves along, ENTER keeps it, ESC cancels.
  • RUN / STOP start and stop when F00.02 = 0 (keypad). STOP/RESET also clears a trip.
  • On a computer: click or drag the dial, use the mouse wheel over it, or focus it and use the arrow keys.

Activity
  1. Ready

Training simulator only. It follows the Sinee EM730 user manual, but it is not a substitute for the manual or for qualified installation. Values marked as model-dependent are typical figures for the selected size — always check your drive's nameplate and the motor plate.
